Bouncy Ball Fun
Downstairs in a pile of toys that haven't been touched in quite some time my children found two bouncy balls. Now these aren't the small ones that fit in your hand. These are the big ones that came from a gumball machine in Old Navy for .50. So it wasn't something that they lost or got stuck where they wouldn't be seen.
Mr. J and Miss N had a blast rolling them in the kitchen. The giggles that came out of their mouths made you laugh with them. I had to stop what I was doing just so I could watch them and take the moment in. I watched them for quite some time and wished that we had more moments like this.

Qiuet Time
Not in this house. Miss N goes down for a nap and Big J takes quiet time in his room. You would think that you would be able to hear a pin drop, yeah not in this house. Most of the time it is Big J is so loud that I have to remind him many times that "quiet time" means that you have to play quietly. Other times he just comes out of his room and has to ask me 10,000 questions. It's always the same question too, "Mommy can I come out now?" Now I have no problem telling his yes but when he asks me 30 minuets into quiet time I can not bend the rules. This Mama needs her own quiet time.
This brings me to the loudness of Big J. How the heck can Miss N sleep through all that ruckus??? Their rooms are next to each other and our house is not that big, nor is there a closet to separate the walls. I have tried to take a nap only to be woken up. I can sleep through anything, it's a trait I get from my mom. =]
One day he will be quieter and then it will make me check on him just to make sure he hasn't escaped or snuck out of the house. lol! Until then I will be grateful for the exercise that I get when I walk up and down the stairs to tell him to "Be quieter your sister is sleeping."
