Losing Weight Sucks

Oh yes it does. I am freshly in my 33rd year of life and after one marriage (I am still married) and two kids I have let myself go. I knew this before I got married when my dress was bigger than it should of been. Yes I know they order them bigger. I should not of been in the double digits for a dress size. Heck I shouldn't of been in double digits in regular clothes.

So here I am feeling fat and trying yet again to lose some weight. How much you ask? Well that depends on two things my little goal or my bigger goal. My little goal is 35lbs and my big goal is 58lbs. I know my mouth hit the floor also. So if I really want to do the math I have gained 5.8lbs for the last 10 years that I have been with my dh. That's crazy to have gained that much every year. Now if my calculations are wrong please someone tell me. But only tell me if the number is lower and not higher. lol!

So feeling fat and depressed about all of this weight and knowing that I have a wedding to go to in September. Not standing up but I need to look good. I have a plan and well that plan is going a little rough. I haven't even lost 5lbs in two weeks. Yes I know that is not healthy but when the dang Wii Fit guy is telling you that you are obese 5lbs in two weeks makes some sense.

I have been eating better and trying not to snack unless I have a couple hundred calories to spare. I downloaded Lose It from Itunes. I love it! I can enter in my weight, everything that I eat and my exercises. Seriously I watch what I eat now that I have to pay attention to what I am shoveling in my mouth. If the food isn't in their data base then you can enter it. I have been entering things and wow do I intake a ton of sodium. Probably a bit too much. One things I am working one alsong with portion control. I measure out 2 cups of salad and some carrots (5 little ones) and two tablespoons of salad dressing. Now I never knew how much two tablespoons really was. It was a little too much for two cups of salad unless you like your greens really covered. I do so it was ok.

I also have been using Water but haven't been using it as much as I should. I am trying to drink my water but it is hard. Plus it is frustrating when you are peeing like every 5 minuets. Seriously how much water do I have to drink to have my body used to it. Ugh!

I have also added working out to my everyday tasks. I have been working out on the Wii. I even went out and got the newer Wii Fit Plus. I only needed the disc and it was worth the $19.99. I love that I am challenged to do my best and plus who doesn't like to try beat their best time. We also have a treadmill and one day I might get on that and walk/run. Once the weather gets nicer I see bike rides, walking and maybe a run with the hubby.   

Every day I am trying to eat right, drink my water and work out everyday. I can only hope that the weight I need to lose comes off and stays off.

I want to be skinny, I need to be skinny!!!
