Sunny Days

Thank goodness today has been warm and sunny. I love seeing the blue skies and feeling the warmth of the sun on my face. I am pretty sure the kids like it also. It's a shame that tomorrow will be crummy out. Oh well that's the way Mother Nature is playing these days.

The sun is such a pick me up and that I definitely need. This past week has had some poop issues. They ended up in the potty but she is still wanting to poop in her pull-up's. She cries for them and then when we don't give in she will sit but she complains. We don't give in though I am pretty sure that is her plan because she knows that Daddy will break. Me not so much and I think she knows this and why she doesn't pull that card with me full force like she does with her Daddy. In the end she ends up going poop in the potty and she gets all excited and then analyzes her poop. Cute for an almost 3 yr old. So I am thinking that the potty is close to wining the poop wars. lol!

Well I have two very whiny kids who are on the verge of fighting so I better go and break it up. Sunny days and warmer weather and they are fighting like they have been stuck in the house all day. Boo!

Two Weeks

After that bad bad day things turned around. The next morning Miss N woke me bright and early to tell me she had to go potty. So off went the pull up and on went the undies. She had no accidents that day or the next or the next or the next. I can fully say that the wow-wow's are here to stay for a bit longer. We now refer Miss N as the Potty Princess.

We are working on the poop and she has pooped a couple of times but today he is having a crying fit over pooping in the potty. She claims that it is too boring. Ugh I am banning that word in this house and treating it like it is a naughty word. Seriously they use that word for anything they don't want to do. Anyways last night she pooped in her night time pull-up and she freaked. I asked her why she didn't come and get me but I couldn't understand what she was saying because she was crying too much. So I figured that was a good thing that she didn't like that she had pooped. I guess not since she has been fighting me to poop on the potty. She is now sitting on the potty bc she didn't want to poop in her pants. *eta she was holding pee no poop.* Being 2.5 yrs old is tough.

She has been peeing outside of the house as well which is a very good thing since she refuses to wear a pull up outside of the house. We even went to the zoo for the day with no accidents. I was worried about this since her brother refused to go in a potty outside of the house even at the grandparents houses. Oh year he was a tough one to train.

I am pretty sure it is safe to say that she is 80% trained with the last 20% being poop and night time. I just need half of that 20% to be completed I want to stop the special treats already!
