Happy 100th Birthday Great Uncle B!!
Yesterday I went to my first 100th year old birthday party for my Great Uncle. I am very glad I did not miss it. It was filled with family and friends. There are three brothers left and one sister-in-law. I am from a very big family and I would love to know more about that side since we don't see them very often. I think I will have to start quizzing my Grandfather to learn all about them. I want to know everything. =)

Just a test
I think I did it finally have a signature of my name to my posts. Such a big thing for me as I am not very patient when it comes to these things. Now to install the better program on my computer so I can do something real fancy to my name. :-)

Sharing a room for quiet/nap time.
So what happens when your 5yr old (only does quiet time) is begging/crying/arguing with you about letting his little 3yr old (takes naps still) sister take a nap in his room?
Well you say no a bunch of times.
The hubby says what could be so bad? They both nap? A resonable answer if you are going to work and won't be home till they are sleeping.
Then you finally give in.
So I make up a nice bed on the floor, cover them and tell them if they get to loud or don't sleep, Miss Sassy is off to her room. All is quiet until Mr. Man comes out of the room to go to the bathroom and I see Miss Sassy's head pop up. I tell her to lay back down.
All is quiet again.
They start to play. The noise gets louder. I get up, head upstairs to find them both out of the little bed on the floor, shirts are off because they are both hot and playing. I put them both back in the little nice bed that I made for them, cover them and tell them to close their eyes.
Mr. Man: "But I am not tired"
Mommy: "Well, that is too bad because your sister still takes naps and she needs to close her eyes. I told you this when you asked her to sleep in your room."
I exit the room and all is quiet again.
Only 15 mins left till nap/quiet time is over.
I can only hope that their evil twins don't come out because of this.
