Phase Day 6

Morning Weight 169

I am shocked to be in the 160's today. I don't think I look different but I am sure if I were to measure some body parts the numbers would reflect that loss. Either way no complaints from me.

Last night I went and got some Adkins protein drinks that I am going to try. Chicken is getting really hard to eat no matter how I cook it. So for now I am going to eat the chicken either for lunch or dinner for a few days and see how it goes. After Monday I am going to try the drink and see how it affects my weight. I wanna get the first week under my belt before I try something new. If this works then I will go and get more or try a different brand. It's a shame that all the protein mix stuff costs so much money. I saw one for $10 and it was a small container compared to the $20 containers. Hubby would not be happy if I brought one of those home. lol

I am still hungry but it seems that the morning is when I am the most hungry. I seriously can't wait to be in phase 3 so I can start eating breakfast again. It also doesn't help that I want to eat everything bad and by I mean fast food. Ugh!!! Oh cake day (son's b-day) you just can't come soon enough. lol

Phase 2 Day 5

Morning Weight 171

So close to 160's I can taste it. Well besides being tired this morning I am feeling good!!

I am a little hungry but I am also used to eating breakfast. I think that's going to be the hardest hunger to get rid of. The hunger is starting to go away and I am not having to eat snacks to get me thru the day. I will have a before bedtime snack if I have the calories left. I also have a snack before dinner. I think I might save most of my calories for dinner and an evening snack. Evening's are the hardest for me because I am always snacking before bedtime. Such a hard habit to break.

I need to take pictures of me in a mirror so I can see the difference. I need to do it today because I can already see a difference in my stomach. Actually I'll be right back and take them now. :-) Ok pictures taken but I think I will have the hubby take better ones tonight.

At the end of everything I will share my measurements and how much I actually lost. I am hoping to lose all the pounds that my ticker says but for now I am paying attention to the little loses. You must celebrate the little losses before you celebrate the big losses.

Phase 2 Day 4

Morning Weight 173

Today was a good day. Not too hungry which is great!!! I even survived my husband eating dinner in front of me. Boy did it smell good!!! Meals have been easier but I am getting tired of chicken so I might have to come up with different spices to use. Everything else is easy to eat for me.

Well I don't have much to add today so on to day 5!!!

Phase 2 Day 3

Morning weight 174.4

Well today I didn't wake up hungry but I have been fighting it all morning.
Just have to keep myself busy and keep drinking my water, tea, and coffee. I figure if it gets too bad I will have a morning snack. Right now it is lunch time and I am getting ready to make some chicken, a bread stick, and maybe tomatoes. Although I might save those for a snack after I pick up N from school.

I have been reading up on the whole hunger thing and people have been saying that it lasts for 3-7 days. So I am hoping that tomorrow I am not hungry till lunch and dinner times. But if I am still hungry after 7 days then I will have to figure something out. Nothing comes easy it seems.

So I have made a big no no the last 2 days. I was mixing salad and little tomatoes together. Only one veggie per meal, just like one fruit per meal. Yeah guess my mind decided otherwise for me. So today I am going one veggie per meal no matter what my mind says. lol

I am looking forward to see what I weigh in 5 days. Although I will be heading to the in-laws house so I am hoping to not be tempted by cookies or any other sweet things. I will be bringing my own food so that way I will not cheat and I will see a nice loss (even if it is only 1lb) on the scale Monday morning.

Phase 2 Day 2

Morning Weight 175.6

I took my measurements but I will track those at My Fitness Pal. After I am done with the diet I will share just how much was lost in inches. I am also tracking my food and weight. This way I know I am eating enough and will know just how much I have lost once this is all over with.

I woke up hungry again. Today I had plain black coffee and an orange for breakfast. So here I sit hungry yet again. Did I seriously eat that much that my tunny wants to eat all the time??? Seriously it's nuts.

I think I am going to have to have a morning, afternoon, and nighttime snack for awhile. Not like that is bad because who wouldn't want to snack on veggies or apples? I love apples and I had forgot just how much I love oranges.

Weight loss is good but changing my eating habits is way better.

Phase 2 Day 1

Morning Weight 177.6

Ugh I am hungry, coffee with nothing in it tastes kinda gross, and I almost forgot to weigh myself. The best part is I am going grocery shopping this morning. Is it lunch time yet??? I really hope I loaded enough on days 1 and 2. If I didn't I have a feeling that this will be a really long phase 2. *sigh*

Ok pretty sure that's all the complaining that I need to do on a Monday morning. Doesn't help that N woke me 20 mins before the alarm to wake him up at 6 am. That kid needs to sleep!!!

Tomorrow starts the diet part and another weigh in for me. I plan on weighing myself every morning like they say to do.
I can't wait to see that first 5lbs gone!!!! Every loss is a great loss no matter how little or big.
